Introducing the brand-new, industry leading Xero cold air intake and guard for the Polaris Matryx snowmobile. This intake was designed to deliver cold, laminar air straight into your turbo. It features an integrated pop-off valve, so your sled never starves for air, even on the deepest over the hood days.The pop-off valve is located next to the factory intake location to keep the air as cool as possible unlike most other designs on the market. Designed to shed pow and increase filter surface area, the protective and flexible guard is nearly indestructible. We’ve also integrated a bung for the factory intake temperature sensor. We’ve also been able to maintain tool-less hood removal. It only takes two additional steps to remove the hood: loosening a large, thumb-twist hose clamp, and unplugging the temp sensor at the plug. Installation does require the removal of the factory upper air box, yielding a net weight loss of .5 pounds.
The intake is compatible with all of our Matryx hood accessories (storage, and headlights), so you can literally have your cake and eat it too.
